About Cristy Lytal

Lytal2013

For the past decade, Cristy Lytal has been writing about film and technology — from stars to stereoscopic supervisors — for the Los Angeles Times, the Sundance Institute, Good Housekeeping, Reader’s Digest, the Hollywood Reporter, Reuters and more. Meanwhile, her curiosity about science has inspired articles on topics ranging from medical school anatomy labs to Martian life. A graduate of Princeton University, she serves as assistant director of University Publications for the University of Southern California, where she also moonlights as a master’s student pursuing a degree in specialized journalism with an emphasis on science. She has a particular love for paleontology; her favorite dinosaur is Triceratops horridus.
